The day after Christmas, we flew out to California for a week long winter wonderland vacation. We flew into the Bay Area to meet up with Jeff's sisters and their families. From their we all headed to Lake Tahoe to frolic in the snow. One BIG problem - there was NO SNOW! As the Rockies were being pounded with snow from Colorado into Texas, the Sierras had not seen snow in over a month. Thankfully there was still a little snow (more ice) at the cabin to play in, and with the help of man snow at the ski resorts. My 2 little Texans didn't care how the snow was made, they had a blast playing in it.
We took a little walk to a beautiful look out point to get some great views of the lake:
