As April comes to an end, we welcome the warmer weather and potty training! Yes, Elizabeth has FINALLY shown some interest in using the potty, just not in the bathroom. The potty travels all over - from room to room, inside and outside, even travels to Grandma Nancy's but we are moving forward toward this milestone. Here are some of our potty adventures:
Yes, when I say outside, I mean the front yard! And did you notice proud big brother, he has become Elizabeth's motivator and cheerleader. It is very sweet to see them bonding over the potty.
And for a reward for using the potty - Elizabeth got to go with mom to get her nails done.
Elizabeth did great, she sat so still and was so excited about her pink fingers and toes. And the best part Mom was able to squeeze in a pedicure as well.
Saturday evening we gathered at the lake for our 1st shrimp boil of the season. Miss Liv was there and was so sweet, she is still super tiny but I can see some filling out. She pretty much slept all evening in my arms so only one picture this time.
Sound asleep on me
Let the boil begin!
I think we had some hungry kiddos
Sunday was play day in the back yard. Caleb found a sprinkler from last year and was very anxious to set it up and play in it and of course they had to test out the pool. The pool is still way too cold for me, Elizabeth is getting braver with the cold water but Caleb has no fears about it. He comes out of the water shivering and telling me it's not cold.
Sprinkler time
Pool time -
Caleb diving in with no worries about the cold water
Elizabeth is much more cautious with the cold water
and then rest time / warm up time!
